RCCB Summer Camp Wrap-Up

It’s almost August, and that means summer camps are officially over at the Racquet Club of Cocoa Beach, managed by the USTA Florida Tennis Management Division.

The jam-packed 2019 Summer Camp schedule at the Racquet Club of Cocoa Beach gave kids a summer to remember — full of fun activities and tennis fundamentals.

The camps started June 3rd, and ran for 9 weeks.

 

  • Second year for camp
  • 208 children participated
  • 45-50 participants per week
  • 433 total registrations (several campers took part for multiple weeks)

US Open Net Generation On-Court Experience:

8 children from the Racquet Club of Cocoa Beach and 3 from Play Tennis Gainesville will be headed to New York on August 31st, to be part of the US Open Net Generation On-Court Experience. Any kids age 8-12 participating in a summer camp at a USTA Florida facility have the chance to be selected for the exclusive experience.

Upcoming events/classes:

Just because summer camps are over, doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. RCCB is now gearing up for fall classes and back to school activities.

  • Week of August 12 — After-school junior practices start for red ball to yellow ball
