Around The Courts: Fall Tennis is Here

Hello Racquet Club of Cocoa Beach tennis players! Welcome to our first Around the Court, where we will recap exciting things happening at RCCB, preview what’s upcoming, and let you know about any special events, shoutouts, and a coaching tip of the month.

Summer Months Recap

July was a busy month at the Racquet Club of Cocoa Beach. Our summer camp averaged 15–20 kids each week, with four strong counselors supporting Camp Director Brianna Armelino. The energy was high, and the kids stayed engaged throughout. We also launched a new Red Ball Clinic for kids five and under on Saturday mornings. This addition gave our youngest players a chance to build skills in a fun, age-appropriate setting.

Adult programming stayed active too. Our July Love To Learn session graduated seven new players. These beginners showed strong progress and are now ready for the next step. We also hosted five league team practices each week, keeping our adult players sharp and competitive.

Upcoming Fall Programming

This month brings new opportunities for both juniors and adults. We’ve added a Coach N Learn program on Wednesday nights. This session is designed for recent Love To Learn graduates who want to continue improving before joining a league team. It’s a great way to build confidence and learn proper tennis etiquette in a supportive environment.

For intermediate and advanced players, we’ve launched a new Monday night clinic. This session focuses on strategy, consistency, and match play. It’s ideal for players looking to refine their game and compete at a higher level.

Junior programming is expanding as well. We now offer Red, Orange, and Green ball clinics Monday through Thursday. These sessions support development across all age groups and skill levels. The Saturday Red Ball class for kids five and under continues, giving families more options to get involved.

Special Announcement

One major update, the facility received a $1.15 million grant for court renovations and upgrades. This investment will improve the playing experience for everyone. We hosted an Adult Social in August, and plan to have another in September before closing for renovations.

We’re proud of the growth happening on and off the court. Whether you’re just starting or leveling up your game, there’s a place for you here.
